PowerLine E 8 QT (AC)

Powerful UV Laser Sub-System for High-Throughput Laser Marking

This sub-system utilizes a powerful UV laser source to enable high-speed, high-contrast plastics marking. This makes the PowerLine E 8 QT an ideal choice for system builders supporting microelectronics, medical, automotive, packaging, and appliance production. Flexible software allows straightforward implementation of complex tasks such as 3D marking on curved surfaces, on-the-fly marking, engraving, and mark serialization.

The PowerLine E 8 QT incorporates a powerful UV laser, modular, high performance scan optics and a sophisticated, yet easy to use, software interface to deliver an unmatched combination of mark quality and operational flexibility. Its ability to rapidly produce a high contrast mark on a wide variety of plastics (both clear and colored) makes the PowerLine E 8 QT an ideal choice for system builders supporting microelectronics, medical, automotive, packaging, and appliance production.

PowerLine E 8 QT is a compact, air-cooled, Class IV sub-system which is designed for easy integration, operational reliability and rapid field service. The laser and other system components are all contained in a sealed enclosure which utilizes filtered, recirculated air to minimize contamination from external sources. When service is required, various system components, such as the power sensor, purification unit, humidity sensors and scan optics, can all be exchanged in the field, without exposing other system components to contamination. This eliminates the need to return the unit to the factory for almost all service tasks.

To further aid systems integrators, Coherent can supply extensive applications support for pre-sales “proof-of-principle,” and process recipe development.
